I again grabbed a snack at the rest area off the expressway. I selected the photo of soup with meat and veggies. I never thought about them making the soup from fire; it was a little spicy. They didn't sell 'cola' - the international word for Coke. They have little metal glasses (thimbles) kept in a Ultraviolet Light cabinet (to disinfect, of course) that you use get free water. Radish and cabbage kimschi were both good. The whole meal, except for the rice wass very spicy; but only 5,000 won. They have numerous vendors outside at the rest areas; one had a machine producing "walnuts". They were a waffle type bread filled with a sweet bean paste and a little bit of walnut in them (maybe 1/8 of an actual walnut); they looked like a walnut in the shell. They were really good when hot, not so good after cooling. I don't know why they sell twelve for 2000 won ($2), I could only eat 7.
