I saw a brown sign and had to stop on the way from the ferry to the motel. The legend is that three gods came out of the 3 holes in the sinkhole to form the 3 families that inhabitied Jeju island initially. This was not a good stop at all, you get to see the holes from a distance,tour a cheesy "museum", and watch a film (whch they played in Engrish, just for us). Cyndi didn't want to stop, so the time we spent was enhanced by her critique. The shrine is for their bi-annual celebration of the 3 "gods".
